We had looked forward to seeing you for the Albright Partners’ event: “Re-imagining the Life Sciences industry as digital enterprises” this coming Friday.

 

However, due to the circumstances and restrictions inflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and latest guidelines by the Danish government, we have chosen to postpone the event with your safety in mind.

 

With more than 90 executives from the Danish Life Sciences industry signed up for the event, we understand that the theme of our event is viewed relevant, however, we do not wish to jeopardise your general health and safety.

 

Hence, we look forward to coming back to you at a later stage with another event date.

Doctors want a stronger collaboration with the Life Sciences industry with the objective of raising the quality of patient care and improving treatment outcomes. Digitalization will be key in meeting those needs of Doctors/HCP’s.

 

Patients still want direct contact with their caregivers, but they are also looking to other sources as they are demanding more involvement in treatment decisions and want to fully understand their condition and the long-term care plan. Digitization will also here be key in satisfying those needs of patients.

Vores 2019 Life Science Nytårsreception fandt sted i januar og gav deltagerne mulighed for at hilse på kollegaer fra den danske Pharma, Medtech og Biotech industri.

EXECUTIVES ROUNDTABLE

Med Albright Life Science Report som fundament, arrangerede Albright tre separate Executive Roundtable events for at samle ledere fra Life Science industrien med to hovedformål: vidensdeling og networking.

Baseret på udsagn fra mere end 100 danske Life Science ledere omkring industritendenser og vækstudsigter, var der rigelig stof at diskutere.

Et par udvalgte højdepunkter fra rapporten:

  • "83% af ledere fra Life Science indsutrien i Danmark tilkendegiver at de er enten ”sikre” eller ”meget sikre” omkring deres organisations udsigter til vækst på toplinjen over de næste tre år, men;

  • Hvor ledere fra Pharma/Biopharma/Biotech industrien forventer at de primære kilder til vækst vil være (1) Strategiske alliancer & partnerskaber (73%) og (2) Advanced analytics (62%), så forventer ledere fra Medtech/IVD industrien at den primære kilde til væksten for deres organisationer vil komme fra digitalisering af produkter og services (83%).

EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAMS IN LIFE SCIENCES - A HEADHUNTER PERSPECTIVE

Evnen til at sammensætte, drive og udvikle effektive ledelsesteams er direkte knyttet til en virksomheds resultater og dens organisering.

 

Hos Albright Life Sciences A/S har vi over det sidste årti studeret organisations- og ledelsesdynamikker på tværs af Life Science industrien. Et af de centrale fund har været, at nøglen til at forbedre en organisations performance og knytte organisationer sammen på tværs af funktionsområder i høj grad ligger i effektiviteten af det siddende ledelsesteam. Opsigelsevarsel, klausuler og fratrædelsesgodtgørelse er alle vigtige elementer i en direktørkontrakt. Virksomheder har I stadig højere grad en tendes til at gardere sig selv ved at inkludere flere klausuler og længere opsigelsesvarsler.

 

Første del af eventet er fokuseret på at give senior executives værdifulde indsigter og redskaber til at navigere i nuværende og fremtidige kontakter. 

Næsten 40% af alle senior executives kommer til at fejle I deres næste ledelsesrolle. Executive onboarding er til for at accelerere og forbedre lederens indtræden I en ny rolle, og for at øge sandsynligheden for succes både på kort-, mellem- og længere sigt. 

 

Anden del af eventet fokuserer sig på at hjælpe senior executives overkomme potentielle forhindringer, når de træder ind i en ny rolle.

Det stigende antal af kommercielle udfordringer, så som nye teknologier, regulativer og skiftende kundeadfærd har medført et øget pres på traditionelle forretningsmodeller. Med udgangspunkt i cases fra både traditionelle og nye industrier var dette event arrangeret med henblik på at give senior executives indblik i og redskaber til hvordan man hurtigere og mere effektivt kan tilpasse og forandre sin nuværende forretningsmodel.

Antallet og omfanget af cyberangreb er steget markant. Grundende til dette er mange, men de omfatter bl.a. mangel på fokus på at forstå informationssikkerhed på et strategisk niveau. Vidensniveauet hos ledelser og bestyrelser er generelt for lavt. Dette event var arrangeret med henblik på at give senior executives indblik i, hvordan de i højere grad kan sikre deres virksomhed mod cyberangreb.
